Stanley Johnson

Stanley Gene Johnson, age 83, passed away on July 22, 2019 in Casper, Wyoming. Stanley was born on February 29, 1936 in Rochester, Minnesota to Cleve and Margaret (Burger) Johnson. He grew up in Mankato, Minnesota and graduated from Shoshoni High School in Shoshoni, Wyoming in 1955. Stanley worked as a roustabout and worked in construction before working for Haliburton from 1956 to 1968 when he joined Little America Refinery where he continued until his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. Stanley is survived by his wife Carol (Preston) Johnson; sons, Stanley K (Pam) Johnson, Kenneth W. Johnson, Andrew L. Johnson; daughter, Carrie N. (David) Jordan; and 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by one sister, Sharon Horan-Coury of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Karen Jean Johnson and a brother, C. Wesley Johnson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Bustard's Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Casper.
