Tyler George Allen Buslett

September 9, 1990 — December 2, 2025

With heartfelt sadness and so much love, we say goodbye to Tyler George Allen Buslett who left us far too soon on December 2, 2025. Tyler was born on September 9, 1990, leaving us with 35 unforgettable years we will carry in our hearts forever. While we wish we had longer with him, there’s no denying he made each and every one of those years unmistakably his own.

Tyler didn’t just have adventures, he created them. And he pulled everyone around him into the whirlwind of his joy and absurdity. While we have no shortage of crazy Tyler stories, nothing sums him up better than the day his big brother Zach sustained a serious head injury. The two, inseparable as always, went to the ER together. Upon noticing the white of his brother’s exposed skull, Tyler took the room by surprise when he excitedly asked “can I lick my brother’s skull!?” The doctor, probably thinking he was bluffing, said since they were brothers, he didn’t see why not. Without a second thought, Tyler did exactly that: leaned in and licked his brother's head. When asked later why he did it, he just shrugged and said, “Because how many other people get to lick their brother’s skull?”

His creativity showed in many ways. His style was uniquely his own and he pulled it off so well. Most recently, he developed a fascination with bell bottom jeans, which he referred to as his “majestical clydesdale pants.” He was also an artist and took immense joy in coming up with things to tattoo on himself simply because it amused him. Some of his most notable tattoos include his knee tattoos: a “below knee” sandwich on one, and a bumble bee on the other; his toe tattoos, including camel toe, toe truck, pigeon toe, and pinkie; and “I’m tired” one one foot, accompanied by “me too” on the other.

He loved all things music, especially punk rock and grunge. He had hundreds of vinyls he collected over the years (even before record players made a comeback). He also had an uncanny ability to find the weirdest songs and genuinely enjoy them, including Horse Outside by the Rubberbandists—a song he loved and reenacted better than the actual music video.

Tyler loved everything and all things Raiders. Win or lose, he still rubbed it in everyone’s face as if they’d won anyways. He never missed an opportunity to trash-talk other teams, especially the Broncos.

Above all else, Tyler’s greatest source of pride and joy were his four children. His journey into fatherhood began with Eathen-Cody, who brought a new sense of purpose into his life. From the moment he held him, he understood a kind of love that inspired him to be a better man. The arrival of Nicolous, his little red head, not long after doubled that joy, filling his world even further.

Tyler instilled his adventurous spirit in his firstborns, creating new memories with them at the same places he cherished as a boy, spending hours together down by the river, “Lob” and “Nam”. He was deeply proud of the young men his two oldest were becoming.

When his daughter, Juniper, arrived, she immediately had her finger wrapped around his heart in that unique way only a daughter can. She was his goldfish, his mini, and in her he saw the very best parts of himself. She meant more to him than she could ever know.

Then came Timothy, Dad’s little monster—the youngest, and forever the baby of the family. Tyler had a soft spot for him from the very beginning, a gentle kind of love reserved only for the last little one. Timothy brought a sweetness and warmth into his world that made everything complete. He will always be his dad’s best friend.

Tyler leaves behind the people who meant the most to him: his wife and childhood sweetheart of 22 years, Sarah Brown; their daughter Juniper Leigh, and their sons Eathen-Cody Blaze, Nicolous Alexander, and Timothy Allen Jr.; He also leaves behind his mother (his beloved “Bonsai”) Betsy (Delbert) Drake; his father, Timothy Buslett; and his siblings: his big sister, Nicole Wurtz; his big brother, Zachary (MaryAlice) Buslett; his biggest brother, Byron Drake III, and his baby sister, Autumn Beadle. He is also remembered by a large extended family and countless friends who loved him so much and miss him deeply.

He is now reunited with his Grandma (his dear “Magmar”) Virginia Beadle and his Grandpa (“Grummpa”) William Beadle; his aunt Christy Beadle; his Uncle Forrest Beadle; and his lifelong best friend Jeremy Backman.
