IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wesley DuWayne
Lintz
August 5, 1956 – January 20, 2026
Wesley DuWayne Lintz (Wes Lintz), age 69, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on January 20, 2026, at Banner Medical Center.
Wes was born on August 5, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to DuWayne Paul Lintz and Dorothy Louise Price. He attended Layton High School and went on to dedicate more than three decades of service to the oil and gas industry.
He began his career with Amoco/BP as an operator and later advanced to shift foreman in Evanston, Wyoming. Wes subsequently transferred to Houston, Texas, where he worked in the Gulf of Mexico as a production operator on the Marlin offshore platform. He later returned to Wyoming and served as Area Superintendent of the Moxa Field in Green River.
After 25 years with BP, Wes continued his career at the Rocky Mountain Testing Facility, serving as Area Superintendent for five years. He retired after more than 30 years of oil and gas service. Following a brief retirement, Wes returned to work and established Wesley Lintz Farmers Agency, where he remained active until his passing.
Wes enjoyed an active lifestyle and a wide range of interests, including weightlifting, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, working on cars, building projects, shooting sports, grilling, camping, and spending time outdoors. He took great pride in his Chevelle, Corvette, and his '97 Chevy 1500 truck. He also enjoyed listening to music. Most importantly, Wes treasured his role as a husband, father, and grandfather.
Wes is survived by his wife, Mary Tomlinson Lintz, of Casper, Wyoming; his five sons and daughters-in-law: Jared (Julianne), Zachary (Hollie), Tommy (Cassie), Cody (Desiree), and Weston (Valerie); twelve grandchildren: Jayden, Jase, Kyler, Keaton, Zaylie, Tandin, Deklan, Shelby, Skye, Chipper, Lucy, and Olivia; and one great-granddaughter expected.
He was preceded in death by his father, DuWayne Paul Lintz; his mother, Dorothy Louise Lintz; his half-brother, Greg; his sisters, Kimberly Lintz and Tamera Lintz; and his grandparents, Wesley and Dorothy Price and Ted and Betty Lintz.
