Penny Hinchen

June 12, 1991 — February 15, 2020

Penny Jo Hinchen was born on June 12, 1991 to Holger Aldon Hinchen Sr. and Phyllis Teresa Hinchen in Las Vegas, Nevada. Penny was 28 years old when she passed away on February 15, 2020 in Casper, Wyoming, surrounded by her family. Penny was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Charles Hinchen, her maternal grandparents Raymond Underwood, Clinton and Betty Farley, Aunt Dianne Underwood, other family members and friends. Penny is survived by both parents, Grandmother Evelyn Hinchen, sister Christine Hinchen, brother Holger Aldon Hinchen Jr., nieces Sophia Hinchen, Adalynn Herdt and Avery Hinchen, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

From the time Penny was little she enjoyed making everyone smile. From the time she was first sick to the end, she made sure everyone around her was happy. Penny’s favorite thing to do was get a new tattoo. She loved art, books and music (one of her favorite singers being Jonny Cash). To Penny the most important thing in life was family, blood related or not. She loved making memories and spending time with her nieces. She loved watching movies with her “fommy”, her father. Penny’s children were her two cats Kit and Squeak. They are just as ornery as she was. Penny loved many and will be deeply missed by many.

No services will be held for Penny. This summer there will be a celebration of life held. Friends and family will be notified with details. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Penny’s Name.
