Tobias Lingle

Tobias Adam Lingle, 43 passed away in Williston ND on June 24, 2018. He was born on January 19, 1975 in Orofino ID to Thomas and Cora Lee Lingle (Carpenter). Toby attended elementary school in Kamiah, ID and his family moved to Midwest, WY in 1984. He graduated from Midwest High School in 1993 and moved to Sheridan briefly before returning to Midwest to care for his ailing Mother. After his Mother's passing in 1994 he joined his brother Tim and sister Tawny in New Town, ND. While in ND he was briefly married to Francene Azure, and to this union was born a daughter, Elyssa Lingle in 1997. He came back home to Casper Wyoming in June of 1997. He began his career in the hot shot trucking industry where he created lots of lifelong friends that were more like family. He worked for companies including GFL, North Park Transportation, Action Cargo, Sunrise Trucking, Ridgeway Trucking and most recently Derrick Equipment. Toby made a huge impact on nearly everyone who crossed his path. His sense of humor and quick wit could not be matched. He was an extremely caring person and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved watching all kinds of sports and was a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan, but we loved him anyway. He was an avid movie watcher that absolutely loved Star Wars as well as all of the Marvel movies. He was very passionate about many genres of music. He loved reading and listening to audiobooks to pass time driving all of the million miles he logged over the years. He is survived by his daughter Elyssa Lingle of New Town ND, sister Tawny Perales of Casper WY, brother Tim Lingle of Culbertson MT. Nephews Dylan Bruce and Jared Bevel of Casper WY. Nieces Ciara Link of Sheridan WY, Emily Boyd of Williston ND, Chantelle and Tristen Lingle of Williston ND, Maddie Korogi of Casper, WY and Kylee Miskimins. Aunt, Judy Huff of Denver CO, cousins Mariel Voss, Kira Guzman, Josh, Ben, Tiny Carpenter and Sarah Carpenter; and step-grandma Joni Carpenter. Lifelong best friends Kassi Howe-Peterson and Kendra Ward of Casper, WY. Toby was preceded in death by his Mother Cora Lee Lingle(Carpenter), Father Thomas O. Lingle. Grandparents Marguerite and Rolland (Red) Carpenter, Sister Tara Lingle, Uncle Neil Carpenter and nephew Thomas Lingle. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Highland Park Community Church, 5725 Highland Drive in Casper with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 PM preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions towards these unexpected funeral expenses would be would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Bustards Funeral Home.
