Owner/Licensed Funeral Service Practitioner
Jeff began his funeral service career with Schrader Funeral Home in 1995 and graduated from Arapahoe Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. He is a licensed embalmer and funeral director and the previous owner of Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook, New Hampshire. He returned to Cheyenne in August 2009 to purchase Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home with Alex Aragon. In October of 2011, he purchased Jacoby Funeral Home in Rawlins, Wyoming (formerly Carbon County Funeral Home/ Rostad Mortuary), and in October of 2018, he purchased Bustard's Funeral Directors and Crematory in Casper, Wyoming. He and his wife, Wendy (Rabou), currently attend the Cheyenne Hills Church and they have two daughters. He is a member of the Cheyenne Rotary Club and enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family and traveling.
Levi is originally from Ashland, Montana, but grew up a military brat and has lived all over the country. Levi served in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper after graduating from high school. He began his career in funeral service in 2014 and graduated from Arapahoe Community College with his degree in Mortuary Science in 2016. Before joining the Bustard & Jacoby team he worked for the Army as a Mortuary Specialist in Landstuhl, Germany. In his free time he enjoys mountaineering, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Melinda, originally from Miles City, MT, is a 2015 graduate of Arapahoe Community College. She graduated with an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science and began her funeral service career in Casper, WY and has served the community of Casper since. Alongside her family, this profession has become her greatest passion in life. Melinda loves caring for others and planning meaningful funerals for the people of her community. In her free time, she loves to spend time outdoors with her family.
David is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico and is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He and his wife, Beverly, have three grown sons and two beautiful granddaughters. David enjoys music, reading and the company of his family.
Michelle was born in Casper and attended Natrona County High School and Casper College. She is blessed with three children, daughter, Taylor and sons, Austin and Laurence, and one grandson, Roman. She worked for State Farm Insurance Company, Auto/Fire and Special Disaster Claims Division for 21 years before the company moved out of Casper, then she worked in the oilfield industry for five years before joining Bustard’s as an Administrative Assistant in December of 2016. Michelle enjoys working with and helping families.
Veronica was born and raised in Casper. She attended Natrona County High School and graduated in 2014. She began working at Bustard's in 2017, and she considers the Bustard's staff as her second family and looks forward to what the future may hold. She enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with friends and family, and her dogs.
Aaron has been a part of the Bustard's staff for over six years. He has been helping with funerals and performing cremations as a Certified Crematory Operator. He is also active in maintaining the facilities. He moved to Casper in 2009 and has a seven year old son, Landon. He enjoys all outdoor activities, spending time with friends and family, and being involved in the community.
Beverly joined her husband, David, in funeral service as an administrative assistant at the Jacoby Funeral Home in 2017 after spending many years raising and home educating their three sons. She is currently the Accounting Clerk for all three funeral homes.
David is originally from Riverton, WY and was raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation. He moved to Casper in 2012 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. David has 20 years experience in funeral service, having worked for Davis Funeral Home in Riverton, helping families throughout Fremont county. He enjoys camping and riding ATVs in the Big Horn Mountains with family and friends.
