Marie Wilson

Marie Wilson, 87, of Casper, Wy, passed away on December 1st, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at Life Care.

Marie was born in Fort Duchesne, Ut, to parents Chester and Merele Lopez on February 6th, 1938. She went to school in Pioche, Nevada where she fell in love with baton twirling and went on to become head majorette. After high school she became a mother to 5 wonderful children. Once her children were grown, she relocated to Casper where she was known as a beloved bartender. Marie had many hobbies. A few of which were bowling, singing at the Eagles Club, playing her keyboard, and watching her grandson Kyle (Heath) play softball.

Marie is survived by her boyfriend of 20+ years, Denny Shriver of Casper, Wy. She is also survived by her children Carla Casey, Terry Stewart, Ernie Emerine, along with 5 grandchildren, Mary Marie, Brian, Chrissy, Kyle (Heath), Jeffrey, along with several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Chester and Merele, her 2 sisters, Barbara and Rose, as well as 2 of her children, Marcy and Mickey. Marie was well known in her community where she had many friends and was loved by all.

A celebration of life will be held at Bustard’s on January 15th, 2026, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. The family would like to extend an open invitation to any and all who would like to pay their respects.

We would like Marie to be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother, as well as the most beautiful redhead of them all. To us she will forever be The Queen Bee!
